Is anyone parting out an e55? Looking specifically for the power steering hoses

 

It would probably more advantageous, to just have the lines made. As the material would definitely be better than 18-20 year old power steering lines.

 

It's such a shame this platform is so old and dying. Parts are no longer made,people moving on to other platforms with far more options and power to be had, prices going through the roof for just about everything IF you can actually get it.

But yeah I get what you’re saying. Other forums that I visit are the same way. Not as many people as they are all on FB and IG.

 

Hey T good to hear !!! Did you ever get some engine bearings ? Mine just came back from coating so now they are "in stock" on my shelf . LOL

Any way I could be over the top with this as well. After giving it some thought yes,it is an old platform and expensive if you don't do your own work but.....where are the "kids" getting into car building these days??
Car shows in my area "used" to be wild with every car you could think of ,shows or the street,and now it's just very low level import cars thinking they are fast. Youth today are not interested in building hard core cars and the expense is outrageous compared to my days of youth. I will go to my grave doing this stuff but it does take a lot of work and money to race in any category these days. Hell just a one day event for me is $1,000.00 with fuel,hotel,track entrance fee and race fuel.
I'm done complaining !! LOL

 

I have an entire E55 I've been trying to sell. Car runs perfectly and is modded to about 510whp and 620wtq interior is gutted and car was repainted terribly by the previous owner so nobody really wants it all that bad, asking for 7k, clean title and 120k miles

 

Have you posted it with pics anywhere?
