Question My W211 E55 DOA anyone had this problem??

Guys: I just had my W211 E55 in for the Brake recall. I picked up the vehicle on Thursday 11/11 and returned home. I tried to take the vehicle for a ride today (Sunday) and the car is totally dead, no power, nothing. I cannot get into the trunk, operate the tele-aid, nothing. Has anyone had this problem?? I seems as if the battery is dead!

happened to me a few weeks ago. As soon as I opended the door the instrument cluster lit up in bright red and read "BRAKE- Braking effect reduced" or something to that effect. turned the key and nada. Nothing. Called roadside and they jumped the battery and it started right up. Not sure what happened, no lights were left on etc. I'll have it looked at when I bring it in to have the crank sensor replaced, which hopefully will solve the "stalling" issue i've posted about.

Question That's the same message!!!

I called tele-aid service and they are going to send someone to check it out or tow it to the dealer. I put a battery charger on and after about 10 minutes the same message: "BRAKE- Braking effect reduced" in red came up ??? I will wait for the roadside technician and have it towed to the dealer tomorrow morning. Thanks for the help cte430 !!!!!!
