M3 Convertible
New to Mercedes "Soon to arrive E55 Brabus"

I've been traditionally a M driver, but have taken the step to purchase my first Mercedes E55 Brabus before my E60 M5 arrives in the middle of next year so I thought I'd join up on this forum.

I have to admit I haven't been a fan of Mercedes but I am sure once I start to drive the car day-to-day I will may change my mind so I guess this is a trial in between taking delivery of the M5.

So to all members what do I need to know about the converted beast, engine run-in period, after sales bits and pieces etc.

And BTW what do you think of obsidian black as the colour ? is it the most popular ?

Regards.

At least you have a sense of humor.

Try searching the fourm, we all asked that question when we ordered.

Grats on your new ride!

Its obvious, but expect a totally different ride. The handling wont be as sharp and stiff as an M5, but keep in mind how relaxed you are while you're driving the car. I've driven M3's and M5's before and every time I got out I was either sweating or had a sore back. I'm sure you'll be far more than satisfied with the comfort yet sheer power of your beast and half way into any drive you'll find yourself with a much bigger grin on your face than you would in an M5. Cheers on the new whip and good luck!
