E55 Valve cover
Great Day Everyone,
newbie E55 owner here
so I've bought the car with valve cover leak on both sides , went to my mechanic to replace the gaskets and after opening the drivers side i could see the valve cover is cracked from the inside, but could not find a replacement so he installed an e500 cover "doesn't seem its the same part". so my question is should I be concerned is there any power loss ? should I stop driving the car tell I get a new valve cover.

They are available new and are inexpensive. Replacement and the gasket will take you under an hour since the breathers are pre-installed and sealed. Do it yourself, and the final repair will be less than the mechanic will charge for sealing breathers and a gasket, imho
