another headers vs cat delete question thread

i know this subject has been discussed many times on another forums but i couldn't find one about the M113k , i know that headers will be the better choice and i know that both options will remove the cats which means it will fail the test. however that has been said the reason i am asking is that i deleted both cats primary and secondary from my car (S55 ) 3 years ago and i pass the test every year since ... so the headers will make my car fail for the visual reason. so i know that the headers will produce more power but by how much? because if the power under the curve is the same or close then i can sacrifice the extra power , but if it is huge then i will have to figure a way to pass my car after installing the headers.

anyone here with some experience in this in terms of:
- the performance gain
- sound loudness not tone, since the tone for both is acceptable to me )
- dyno numbers?
- car response ?
- short VS long tube

I don't get it. You removed cats 3 years ago and pass every year....cat less. Now you want headers and that will fail the visual bat the cats missing did not ???

yes you are spot on.. i know it is weird and make no sense but where i live, they just look for the headers , when it comes to emissions they have high tolerance..
