Let the struggle begin! Jspec E55 with some questionable history

Unfortunately the top part of the fuel pump assembly is heavily leaking fuel, so I need to replace the entire pump assembly.

I also discovered that I need to do some suspension work. I'll start with the front thrust arms and ball joints, and then replace both rear shocks--they are leaking heavily. Not easy to find replacements!
A longer-term project will be to replace the head unit with an Android one as well.

I could have installed the XF Motorsport aluminum gears but do not trust them for racing.

Hang in there...

Thank you...I've put it on the back burner with a R129 purchase taking all the attention this week.

Also did the rear shocks. I'm looking forward to going for a drive!

A strange issue has come up now that the weather is cold: the brake pedal pulses for a couple of seconds quite regularly (once when I start the car, and maybe every 10 mins after that). No warnings on the dash (yet), but I'm concerned that it may be an SBC issue? The car has low mileage (78k kms) so it would seem strange for that to come up so soon...

The warranty in the USA is 25 years. I don't know what the warranty period is for Canada...

PACE. Primary plan (plenty of room, hard on the brake pedal, pull the car to the side of the road), Alternate plan (not so much room, hard on the brake pedal, downshift with steering wheel paddle, pull the car to the side of the road), Contingency plan (very little room, hard on the brakes, stomp parking brake, move left foot to main brake pedal and push like a gorilla, downshift with steering wheel paddle, evasive maneuvers as necessary, pull the car over to the side of the road), Emergency plan (look for anything that will cushion the crash...).
Never experienced a total SBC failure, never want to experience one. Emergency procedures exist for a reason.
Always think, "What if?". I sorta felt bad for the guy behind me when I stomped on my brakes when the box truck in front of me dropped its driveshaft which started pogoing down the highway with each bounce 6 feet in the air (hello, windshield!). I was on my Alternate plan that day. Maybe those years in the military taught me something....

@radride How do you like your Hellcat? Any observations you would like to share with us? Cool car, in my opinion.

I also found out all four of my wheels are bent, and one is cracked. Not happy.
