I have an 05 E55 that came with the Anthracite interior, but all seat options. I was able to source a complete Merlot interior for a good price, so I will be swapping that in. I am almost completely done, but I need to swap the leather over as the connectors are different (same options different years). Waiting for a friend to help me with that as I have given up doing it myself. There are two more parts I need to find however:
- W211/W219 Gear Selector Trim (W68 Designo Brown PoplarWood)
- W211 (05+) (W68 Designo Brown PoplarWood)
Any leads on these?
Since I had a Graphite Designo S211 that got rear ended, I took the wood trim that came out of it (along with the shifter) and swapped it in my E55. My friend now owns the wagon; he wanted a complete interior, so I swapped my wood trim into the S211. I wasn't able to complete his interior as the 04/05 gear selector trim and center console are different (hence why I am trying to source one). Praying I can stumble across one at LKQ.
I don't believe Mercedes offered either of these combinations of wood trim/interior color and wanted to know what people thought?
My Interior: My current interior until I can source the remaining trim. I have an E63 steering wheel to swap in as well so please don't judge. Finished back seats

I am looking for the gear selector trim from an 05+ W211 (or CLS) and a matching sliding center console out of an 05+ W211. I am looking specifically for trim option (W60/W68) DesignoBrown Poplar Wood.
I wanted to show the poplar wood trim with the Merlot interior as I don't believe Mercedes offered that from factory. I know that for sure applies with the Designo Graphite Green and the standard wood trim. Some people may think it's weird but I find it interesting.

Other than checking eBay which I’m sure you have no leads. I hope you find what you need to do the center console swap. I am interested in your process as I want to finally after 12 years swap to the late 05+ console.
If you happen to find a shifter with distronic let me know as that is the hardest part to locate for me. The trim color doesn’t matter as I plan to have it redone in real carbon to match the rest of my interior trim.
also congrats on the Merlot. My white/pano E came with it from the factory and wouldn’t have any other interior color.
Thank you. I've found a lot lot of pieces that look close but are slightly off. The only thing I've found is the center ashtray which I already have. I wasn't originally intending on the merlot interior; I wanted blue. Got this for a really good deal though, so I went with it. In the future I'd love to get a Designo Espresso interior somehow...

I was able to source the gear selector trim. I convinced someone on FB marketplace with an 05 Designo E500 that was selling his car to swap his wood trim with me. Unfortunately, the sliding center console had already been replaced with one from a completely different car . If anyone has any leads on the sliding console (if I'm able to order one from a stealership at this point I will) please let me know.
No leads on a Designo W211 (05-06) part out? I've searched practically the entire US and Canada. I've also searched eBay internationally. I really would like a matching interior in my car; I knew this would be difficult to source but didn't think it would be impossible.
