p0507 and p0505

my 06 e55 gave me the p0505 and p0507 code which are both related to the idle air control system. I've done lots of research already on here and other forums and have watched many videos of what could be simple problems with the throttle body, vacuum leaks, idle air control valve, or other miscellaneous problems that I hope aren't a great hastle. as far as visual inspecting the engine for any sort of displacement like a busted air line or dirty throttle body, I just can't figure out what would be causing this code and im hoping its nothing with the internals (if it can be) that are causing this code. Just need some explanations and answers if someone on here has had a problem similar to mine.

More then likely an air leak and VERY small as well. These ECU's along with the pressure sensor are extremlly sensitive to a very small variance and the ECU will have a fit.I am chasing this as well but also have low voltage code that will raise the idle, push the rpm out of it's window, and trip a code.

if its a really small leak then i guess i could do a smoke test to pinpoint it. its also throwing the p0455 EVAP code at me because of it (I think) could it also be the ECU that is damaged. also the RPM range isn't significantly out of place, it will idle at around 600 to 800 RPM's when in park but the second i change into reverse or drive the RPM will lower to about a little under 600.

Sometimes, lot's of times, the smoke test will not show it. Log in with a scanner, watch fuel trims and start spraying every seal with brake or carb clean on preferably a cool engine to prevent any fires. Pretty unlikely but you never know. I always have a fire extinguisher near me whenever doing this and it WILL find a leak very fast and is much faster as well.

i started it up today to see if I couldn't find anything else when it was running and I heard a hissing sound coming from the front drivers side vacuum line that sits right above the valve cover. sounds like I found my problem. thankyou for the pointers though.

Sounds like the gromet deteriated or tube is out of the gromet. If it is that will explain your evap issue as well.
