Interior color
Hi all,
I found an interior pic of the e55 in an astonishing color. It's looks so 'warm' and 'cozy'; I instantly fell in love with it. Anyhow... I looked on the mbusa.com site @ 'build your e55', but I can't find this color?
Is it not available anymore in the '05 models?

E55 AMG Black/Black
That looks like a E class Classic model. Dare i saw those seats look like its cloth.
The speedo clusters also dont look like AMG or Avatangarde models.
Anyhow, in Austrlia, that colour is Pebble Biege

yeah, now you mention; the seats look a bit different. But the pic was on a Carbase CDROM under the E55 section; so I assumed it was an AMG.
Too bad it ain't available for the 55.

That's a weird model. I'm pretty sure that Elegance has chrome around the instrument cluster displays and on the wood trim; but Classic has neither. That model has chrome on the instrument cluster and around the gear shift gate cover, but not on the dash wood trim... hmm.
And it's not a weird US model because of the instrument cluster display and NAV button on the Audio 50 APS.

E55 interior color
When I asked my sales rep about geting a light grey interior on the E55 he said it wasn't a problem since it was available for normal E-classes and they would just have to put a nromal interior in the AMG.

SL 65 AMG and E63s AMG
I tried to get a light interior in my 05 E55 and was not successful. Designo addition was closest available. The car in the pic doesn't have steering wheel with manual buttons on it. No+ and- on thumb area. The headunit looks like my 03 E500 without Nav system. I don't think the system is available anymore.
I was very hesitant to get a dark interior where I live but since living with it thru the summer I never felt uncomfortable b/o heat. I will add that I love the ventilated seats. Definitely worth the cost.
I would buy this car again with any color interior or exterior. It doesn't matter, the car is awesome. There are no bad colors. They all are eye candy! :p

Can Kleemann, Brabus, or some other cartuner make the leather + dashboard in the E55 the same color as in the pic; without putting a regular E-class interior in it??
yeah, ur right; the car stays awesome no matter what kind of interiorstyle BUT, it would be so fricking MORE awesome if u can have it with this adorable color in the dashboard.
Probably not much other E55s will have that, and that makes it a little exclusive too.

Based on the speedo being in Kilometers it is not a US car- If I were to speculate also- I'd say the interior is an E320 or maybe E500
My vote would be a "Charcoal Leather" as an option for our Black or Silver exterior. Had it in my Twin Turbo Lexus and it was NICE in that color Leather

That picture is from an E class but not an E55. Notice there is no silver surround around the instruments and no + - on the steering wheel for the manual button shifters.

BTW, E55 interiors only come in Charcoal, Charcoal/Dark Blue or Charcoal/Merlot

This is an E class pic, as mentioned above. Keep in mind, however, when you click on pictures in the E55 section of MBUSA, it gives you general Eclass pictures, not E55 exclusive pictures. I found this kind of annoying myself, but it's something I knew. Same thing goes with the 360 views.

Interior color
I was looking through this thread while trying to find a picture of a Red with Tan E55, that was new and in Europe, that I saw the other day and wondering if it was an exclusive in Europe. Wherever that thread was, it had a lot of positive responses regarding the tan interior. I'll keep looking. If (when) I find it again, I'll post the link here. I am just not a fan or dark exteriors or dark interiors.

I was checking out custom colors on the MBUSA site and you can get a light colored leather interior and poplar wood with the Designo Espresso optional color scheme. Looks like BoBCanada's car. It says it comes with a wood steering wheel also.
I also looked for red exterior and I couldn't find that it is available in the US. Must be Euro color only.
