Dead trunk battery

as you can see by the title most of you may now know that im locked out of the trunk of my 06 e55😐. the battery went dead on me and ive been trying to get into it for about a week now trying to find a solution anywhere you can think of. ive tried, the mechanical key in the lock cylinder, trying to get voltage to the trunk battery through different ground points throughout the car. the mechanical key works for the doors but the trunk just doesnt want to open whats so ever. im trying to refrain from taking it to the dealer or calling roadside assistance. any mb vet got any info?🤷‍♂️

And your car doesn't have engine compartment jump terminals?

well im pretty sure it does but the owners manual doesnt call for jumping the car on any other battery other than the one in the trunk. regardless ive tried the ground points by all the fuses in the engine compartment and the spare battery up front. ive even tried the ground points under the carpet on the passenger side.

Is your trunk handle stuck in the release position? Lots of thess handles rust and will not release when squeezed. When this happens, you can’t use the key to get in the trunk.

Boot manual key - WD40 + Persistence + some mild heat around the latch handle - hairdryer should suffice - if handle is stuck open . Don't be scared to soak it in WD40 though.

Add some silicone grease to the key before inserting into boot lock as well and repeat above.

Also just to be sure... you insert key rotate it (think its clockwise) and then pull on the handle to open. Turning left will lock it. (or vice versa but try both)

Open bonnet and charge up the AUX battery upfront. This should give enough power to release the latches electronically. (if that still works). Any fuses blown?

You could try removing the number plate lights to mbe get some WD40 routed closer to the interior lock mechanism?

[Edit - didn't realize you could get into car]
