Been a minute…….
It’s been awhile since I updated my progress on the “build the AMG and don’t get divorced” project.
so far so good lol
finally had some time and did my rear subframe bushings with the help of my MB Tech friend Mitch. Also replace motor mounts, injectors, pulleys, belt and just ordered monobloc wheels, A/F gauge and LTH an hour ago. Once I get those installed and a tune done by MSS, off to paint it goes.
still have a slight RPM bounce going on so when the install for the headers is happening I’m going to check for a vacuum leak.
After replacing the rear subframe bushings I can now say for certain that was my problem with my car feeling like it was lagging or delayed when changing lanes or turning. Car feels planted and great, still going to do a few more suspension tweaks and adjustments along with replacing some components down the road once I recuperate from spending a crap ton of money lol
