E55 Flint Grey/Merlot
That ashtray is an affront to most American buyers. Even many smokers won't light up in a car like this. The Germans do so many things right, but the historically extra attention to ashtrays and neglect of cupholders are not one of them.
Duane: Most people detect a hint of Blue in the Flint Grey. I see a touch of Amethyst in the right light.

Merlot or Blue? Decisions, Decisions
Nice car Vitaman. I am going to order an E55 in the next couple of days. It will be white with burl walnut and I am having a hard time deciding on Merlot or Blue. Any photos of blue out there? Any suggestions? How about the wood, think the black would look better than the walnut? One last thing, tell me about the steering wheel. Who did that? It look great.
