E55 Flint Grey/Merlot
Some photos of the Wonderful Car
This is my first attempt at posting photos. Assuming success, note the variation in color of both the Flint exterior and the Merlot interior depending on light and shadow.

Wow!
Great color combination! I think Flint is such a stunning color. Plus, I am truly impressed with the Merlot. You're right when you said that it adds a bit of warmth to the interior. All I can say is "wow"! Enjoy and congrats.
I noticed the liner in your trunk. When did you add that?

Wow thank you!! Your photos made me realize what this extra piece of plastic I got was for. I had no idea that the ash tray had a removable cigarette tray!! I put that piece in there and now it can be used to store something instead of being wasted space!
Thanks!!
P.S. Nice Car

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I know when I was waiting for the car to arrive, pictures renewed my hope that it would really happen. Although there is no perfect car, this one does does almost everything really well. This was my 2nd car from the Dealer in 3 months (made a slight error of calculation and ordered a C55 from them in the Summer), so the Accessory Dept. knew me pretty well. As a gesture of pity or good will not sure which, they threw in a trunk liner (very practical) Non-smoker's package (lose the ashtray, gain a secret storage bin), and Michelin PS2's.
Big Ups to Beowolf for putting up with some inane questions, giving me excellent advice at every turn, and recommending the supercool MBWerks Steering Wheel. At first I was not sure about the feel of the wood. Now after a few days it feels as good as it looks.
Off to program the Homelink, peruse the owner's manual, and ponder the merits of 19" wheels.

ashtray insert
Nice car. I'm in Dunwoody, but haven't seen another e55 locally till yours. Got mine on 12/21. I also took out the ashtray, but where did you get that nice rubber insert ?
