2005 E55 Value after accident...

As some of you know, my car was involved in an accident and finally got her back last week. Took car in to a local dealer to outright sell it.

Car is 2005 with 7400 miles, Brilliant Silver with Lighting package, heated seats, rear shade, Nav and I was offered $74000...WOW! I was honestly expecting mid to low 60s due to accident. They told me that if it was never in an accident it would have brought in 78K. They told me to bring car back to stock everything.

I will be selling her on Thursday/Friday so I will part with front grille, rear spoiler, roof spoiler, steering wheel (don't need it since I'm getting CLS), keeping the RT pulley (going on CLS), HRE 547R 19 inch (drove on them for about 1 month - Spero can testify to this). Let me know if anyone is interested in any of this stuff.

Im in the DC area...04E55AMG almost had to pick me up because I almost fell off my chair by the high figure I was given and was going to outright sell it on the spot before they chaged their minds, but I had it in writting and they're giving me a few days to "strip" the car.

The CLS will come with 19s from factory with 285s in the back and 255 in the front (I think, I could be wrong about the front) and my HREs have 275s in the back and 245s in the front. So I've decide to sell the HREs and get a new set of 20s for the CLS. The HRE's just came back from HRE, sent them off to get repolished...wheels are practically new now.

I second that Rims and tires have about a month of use since car was at the shop for about 2 months. A GREAT upgrade for someone looking for a spring/fall/summer rim & tire package with stock 18's being used for winter driving. Can not wait to see the CLS with the stock 19's with 285's in the rear!

Great price on trade-in

Asked you about the rims & tires back on 11-26 in your original "t-boned" thread; unfortunately, now I have the same on special order. Sorry, would have been a quick sale.

Sorry I didn't respond, at that time I was still debating if I was going to keep the car or not.
