iForged wheels
Hi all,
I'm still shopping around for a set of 20" wheels for my Beast. Either I'm rollin' with HRE, DPE, or iForged. I haven't seen many iForged on an E55 so please share pics if you have them, thanks a bunch.

I'd like too see some pics of E55 with Iforged wheels also. HRE's are sooo hot but the price is not. I can't seem to find other rims I like, so I might have to break down and get some HRE's. What are DPE wheels? And why is there such a big cost difference between HRE's and Iforged wheels?

HRE vs. IForged
What you get is a veteran company who is willing to stand behind their product versus a fly by night shop who was (and maybe still is) notorious for awful customer service and an inferior product.
Yes, you might pay more for the HRE name, but in my experience paying less for a negative experience doesn't make you feel better about paying less.

Try to get HRE's you will be on a 3 month waiting list
I have seen Doc's wheels they are nice, so there is no need to deal with anyones customer service, except for the Doc's..lol

You can't beat HRE's customer service and the quality of the rims. Yes it is alot more expensive then IForged but it shows. That is just my 2 cents. It seems like DPE is stepping up these days too. From what I know, DPE owns the bimmer market. Everyone on the fanatics forums rave about DPE's. From what I've seen, it looks like a good quality wheels. I would look into them too...

I'm liking the DPE's a lot, too...good choice if you go with them.

I think Iforged wheels are gorgeous especially the new Daytona Series.
When I emailed the company for fitment details, it took almost a week to get a reply. HRE on the other hand has always responded to any questions I've asked within 24 hours. This fact alone has swayed me.

Dpe???
hre = good quality, expensive and takes 2-3 mos for a set of wheels
dpe= cheap, not true 2 piece construction, look at their wheels. they weld the center to the outer hoop and finish is crappy..
iforge= 1-2 mos to deliver, alright quality..they used to use the cheapy method dpe uses now...now using true 3 piece oonstruction, but finish is crappy

iForged makes some awesome wheels!! In fact, I think they look as good or better than the HREs.
I took part in a group buy that happened for some corvette owners. It was a disaster to be honest, but it was mostly because they were a fairly new company at the time and they couldnt keep up with the demand. It took forever to get the wheels, but the finished product was AWESOME!
I have been told that the quality of customer service has improved quite a bit and I know someone who deals in those wheels so if you guys are interested I can approach him and see what he says.
See for yourself... Here is a pic of my iForged wheels on my vette:

If you guys want a beautiful set of wheels with the some of best service you will ever receive from an aftermarket company, CCW is the way to go. I have them on my ZR-1 and many of the other C4 and C5 Corvette owners have been using them. John is the owner and is very involved and will make sure you get great service and beautiful wheels. Here is a link to the gallery on their site with an E500:

As far as iForged, my friend has them on his Z06 and the wheels look nice but the service has been absolutely terrible. They sent him the wrong wheels and have been less than helpful in getting the problem resolved.

I guess what I heard about the customer service at iForged was not totally true.. I heard they turned around and were providing better service now.
Anyways, I was actually in touch with John because I am probably going to get the SP500 for my car. Still deciding between powdercoated black or polished.
Guys,
CCW is a great company and I have never heard 1 bad spoken word about John. Like Iceman said he is the owner and is very involved in day-to-day operations. He quoted me $2,400 for the wheels.
If anyone is interested I can ask him about doing a group buy and see if we can get some better pricing???
