Did my post get banned?
i got a final price of 850 for the 3 engine covers (engine and 2 air filter covers) not 1,200 like i was told earlier. the post i put on explained in detail of how to get this was and still is deleted. i am talking to brad who can hopefully fix this. he and evo have been very helpful in my mods (which phucking rock (thats for you brad) and the installer who brads crew help get the mods installed. stay tuned.

OK,
1st: NOTHING was deleted by me or evosport. Not our style, never has been, never will be.
2nd: We "evosport" actually have little to do with the day-to-day running of this forum. The Mod's have that task, and do it well. I have found out that a Mod did delete this thread, I am unsure who and why, but will find out. It clearly was a bit over the line and we will handle that internally.
3rd: I owed you a call on the CF cover. I am sorry, I had a major issue at work today to deal with, and I did not get a chance. That is my fault. Sorry.
I am deeply disappointed by your post. I spoke with you yesterday and you were very happy with your modifications and your car. I am really unsure how to even respond to this whole thread.
You certainly have my phone and email, so I am very unclear as to why you would not use one of those methods?

As to the big picture here, all I can say is that what did happen was a problem. However, we all need to realize that the Mod's here are what keep the board alive. Seriously, without them this board would not be here. They do a thankless job, and we back them 100%. That being said, a Mod made a bad call. I am sure each of us do it at least once a day (right?). I am not even sure who it was yet, but I can say that I know the intent was to make MBWorld a better place - PERIOD.
We as a forum, admins, mods, etc. will use this to learn from, and we will all be better off.
As for PeterB, he is a customer and a great MB enthusiast. One I talk to fairly often lately about his car, in fact, I just got off the phone with him (after calling him about this thread). He is a good guy and a true enthusiast, and just reacted a bit emotionally while assuming that the intent was to prohibit some competition to evosport. That is 100% NOT the case, and he understands that. I also understand that with that assumption, I would be upset and might react the same way. Lord knows I have reacted FAR too emotionally on forums in the past, and likely will again at some point.
No harm, no foul. We can all be a bit wiser if we take something away from this.
All the parties involved are good people, all had good intentions. Something jsut got lost in the mix.
Now, back to beer, babes and fun!
