after cleaning up the oil, i took a grinder/buffer to the back of one of my original wheels after about 5 minutes, I GOT A SHINE!! so why not strip off all the paint, have my polish guy hit the rings then get the spokes painted/powder coated black then clear the whole wheel. the center cap's mbz emblem pops off. paint that black too then put the chrome emblem back on. So ill have stock custom one-offs that i can get drag radials for for about a 1,000 bucks! whaddya think?

I was thinking about doing that also. I really like the stock wheels, but want black or gunmetal on my silver car.
I can't wait to see how it turns out.
