IMO, I think Bruno Sacco would be pleased to see pictures like these since W212 has both the "horizontal-" and the "vertical affinity" he referred to and can be easily tied to the W126. It's too bad that MB no longer has the 14-year running cycle as it did with the W126.

that bumper does NOT have to be replaced. A good body man will remove it, heat it, pop it out. And fill it.

Do not let anyone doop you into a new bumper. If you have any questions regarding repairs, pm me. i'd gladly help, mis-information regarding auto repairs is so vast amongst forums it's ridiculous.

Any long term issues with the Matte?
Would you do it again?
I've had no issues with it yet, i have heard from others and i have the same feeling that the scratches from washing and so on dosen't appear that well i you compare with "regular" paint.
