Or if you're lazy you can just buy them from the dealer $60 per side. Or you can get it on ebay for $10, but they don't have the new AMG style.
+1 I was disappointed the W212 didn't have the interior touches of the W211.
FYI got a new picture of my diffuser up! and the rear roof spoiler.

Your car is sick Racing Dad!
I've been toying with getting a black grille, for "unique" purposes if anything, as I really love the chrome with the black fins OEM look. I didn't think you can have a black grille with non black wheels and pull it off, but your car does very well!

why thank you!
It's funny that you say that, i've been toying around with the idea of blacking out my rims ever since I blacked out my grille! Thanks for the thumbs up, blacking out the rims is a PITA, maybe I will really just keep like this. :-)

That's an issue for me as well, I don't want to have to deal with curb rashing black rims either, seems to be extra painful. I keep thinking a black grille needs black wheels, but it seems to work for me on your car.
What did you use to black the grille btw? If I ever did get it, I'd prefer to wrap it, if it's possible, and if it'd show well, as knowing me, I'd possibly want to put if back to normal at some point.

1st post. Just thought I share. Just purchased today brand new 2010 E63 with premium package 2. Was told that the break in period for these cars are pretty important and that it will guzzle oil for the first few thousand miles. Was looking at M5s as well but I'm sure you guys will all agree, I made the right choice.

Lots of differing opinions on break in. I did a couple of hard run sessions to prep the seals. 1300 clicks so far, nothing about needing more oil so far...

Your new E63 looks great! I had not seen the matte platinum yet. Please post a few more pictures so that we can see it from more sides. . .

they come off, just like any other badges, because they're only put on with double stick tape. If you're car is less than 6 months, they should just come off. The hard part is cutting more double stick tape to put on the back of it!

Look a bit too big (disproportionate) in my personal opinion, as I like 18's or 19's look on the W212 (maybe the wheel design makes it look more imposing though). Sucks to hear about the ride quality, but that's the price ya pay. Being that it's an AMG, the handling trade-off is probably worth more to you though.
