2010 E63
Came from the M5 Board
I was on this board 4 yrs ago when I traded an E55 for an '06 M5, Now I'm back with an all black 2010 E63 and loving it. I'll post my more positive comparisons (love the exhaust note) after I hit 1000 miles. Happy to finally see this W212 forum.

A Prius because I'm green
I looked at an M5 today and the E63. I will admit I think the car looks a lot better in person and the tail lights are not the best but if the car is white or black they are not that bad. It's just tough now that FI is coming back to the E class but I'm curious how the ride is since I don't see much changing there.
Can't wait to see the pics! Congrats on the new AMG

2008 997turbo, 2004 X54.8is, 2003 Armada, 1999 Wrangler many mods
Same here. I am coming off of an E60 M5 by way of a 997tt. Keeping the Pcar for weekends but found that I needed something more comfortable for the daily commute. It doesn't get much better than massaging seats!
The E63 is fantastic. Only 500mi on the speedo, I am being a good boy and not flogging it. The car is a much better DD than the M5 (I had the SMG tranny). Love the stereo, great driver's aids, wonderful exhaust note. IMO handles as well if not better than the M5. Turn in is just as sharp, the ride is better over the cratered NYC tarmac. I have not tested the limits of adhesion yet as that is a fool's game with summer tires in the NE below freezing temps. Looking fwd to the 1000mi mark.
Enjoy!
