Drove E63 (212) C63 Australian GP Track Today
Hi Guys, Drove the E63 (212) And C63 around the Gp Track today as a invitee of AMG there were 19 E63s & 20 C63s. I had a ball there was no holding back today, we were encouraged to give them heaps.I currently own a (211) and i was very impressed with the (212). The gearbox is a huge improvement over the (211) model super quick changes and the down shifts were amazing.The car feels lighter and more responsive, as much as i was not a big fan of the look, it has grown on me alot i am now going to buy one in the near future.The sound of the engine seemed louder and angreir in the car then the C63. AMG had a camera in my car and i will try to get footage and try to post it.

In the old days they all had "gold" brake calipers, now they are much darker grey so they don't give away their past so readily.

What have I got to do to get a track day invite? I enquired about AMG club membership in Australia and was told I would have to purchase a new car from a MB dealer. AMG package at Melbourne GP would have been nuts. Especially with Michael Schumachers return.
I did a package at Melbourne GP with the BMW M Club one year. They gave us a box seat on turn 2. Non stop beers and food for 3 days. A BMW evening ball with talks from Patrick Head and Ralf Schumacher and a track day at Phillip Island on the Monday after race day with a fleet of BMW M cars and track tuition from Alan Moffatt and Geoff Brabham. It was one of the best weekends of my life. I’m sure AMG would do it just as good. I am envious.
