You think well see any thing close to this again? I'm still stinging over not being able to get in on the fun.. Hopefully in a year from now when Mercedes announces the new 55tt AMG motor for the 2012 E63, similiar deals can be had on the 2011 E63 with N/A engine..
Thats all I can hope for now unless we get similiar deals for the red tag event at year end..

Agree. They cleared their over allocation and dealer woes and now the regular 2010 buyers will be out to get the end of model year deal... 5k off net of invoice is a pretty good deal but the days of 30k are done....

So why didn't these cars sell? Economy still? Or is it the car itself? Or both?
You'd think they would have forecast the economic trends and modified production. Or did they do it on purpose?

F*** I knew what I was getting into getting my car just 2 months before major incentives start kicking in, but DAMN! ![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Oh well, all for good reason I suppose.
ESIX: I noticed you had it for 7,500 a month instead of 10K, you know how much extra per month that saved you?
Also, yeah, that was an amazing deal on the E63. I almost can imagine you're not paying much less than that at all for your 550?
I'd rest assured they might bring back deals like these once the 2012's hit with the TT Motors, those things will be hot (considering the market this car's in, of course).

Yeah I think he was packing you. I saw the tiered rate sheet with the fico bands and the best rate without auto checking debit was .00280 and with the debit it was .00270. This was for a fico over 750!!!!!! Wow MBCC gives me an interest equivalent of 6.72% (.00280) with a fico over 750--- what a joke. But thats the price to pay for leasing I guess because they do bump their residuals. This way they make the interest income and keep you stuck in the car...
If you like Ill get the the other rates with the fico breakdowns.

So you're saying that with the best (Tier 1) credit the M.F was .00270? My Credit was a Tier One they said, and I think my M.F was .00279.

1st id like to congratulate every one that scored a new E63 over the weekend with the insane lease deals/rebate/trunk $$$.
As for my own experiance, it was just a brutal brutal day yesterday.. I committed to a 2010 Black Obsidian with Almond leather, every thing looked great for a moment, i was completely pumped and beyond excited.. That was until the credit check came back and said that i would not get approved until my current lease was assumed by another party/person..
The problem wasnt my credit, it was the fact that my current lease (E550) was still under my name.. Had we found a taker for my car yesterday and put his or her name on that car, the credit for the new car (2010 E63)would have been approved according to my dealer and MB Finl. My dealer promised he would have the car moved within a week but didnt anticipate this problem.. The deal was too good to be true i guess (for me atleast).. If the deal was going on for another week, i would have been fine and most likely picked up the new car by weeks end..
2450 down 890 a month for 36 months 7500 miles a year.. Car was loaded..
I seriously feel like a walking zombie today.. what a horrible day/night yesterday was for me.. Deals like this will most likely never be back again. Missed oppty..

Dood, sorry your deal didn't work out last week. Here's something, may not be as good as the deals that were out there but its a start. I was speaking to several dealers when i was looking at mine and one of the guys just emailed me saying that he can discount 15K on the one he has. I don't know what he has in stock but thats a starting number so its not half bad. May not get to 25 off but maybe get you close to 20. If you want details PM me. I'll give you name and dealer. He's east coast, driveable if you're in NJ.

Being a long time BMW/Porsche owner, first time MBZ owner I find it really sad how fast these cars depreciate. I couldn't get out of my lease now to save my life, and had I paid cash for my car it would be worth $30k less than I paid 6 months ago. Crazy.
I was complaining to a friend of mine about this and he told me he knows a guy who bought a brand new CL65 for $198k or so a year ago, and when he came in to trade it in for an SLS they offered him $85k!!!! LOL

These deals don't necessarily mean that the car has depreciated 30 gs. This was a blip for mb to unload inventory. Once the inventory is gone and you can only get 2011, the price of used e63 will stabilize to normal levels. If a buyer came to me looking to buy my car, I'm not letting it go for 60 knowing that his other choice to get into a 63 would be to pay retail at 90+.

It's not the car as much as it is the market. Cars like the E63 are in extremely low demand, and are kind of odd ducks sitting in the ever changing car market.

It's a very narrow market for these cars. Especially with CL65s. It's always been like that from day one.
Plus the economy is still a problem esp in consumer's minds. Lots of people's assets were reduced by the markets and still have yet to climb back up to past values. Lease or buy, there's also still a big chunk of wealthy but frugal consumers who just don't want to spend right now.
fwiw, price out used 997TTs, or Aston Martin, Maserati, etc.. Huge depreciation there also now.
p.s., high end cars (CLs, e.g.) are usually a hard sell on the used market. They can't sell unless they're relatively affordable by somebody who can't or won't buy a new one. The uber wealthy will always buy new, there's no reason for them to buy used. Except for Ferraris and limited production cars where it's not easy to buy new unless you're a repeat buyer, etc.. But even those cars depreciate dramatically in respect to their original sale price.
