Can someone please explain why my nav system sucks so bad?

How do you get that STUPID B**** WHO KEEPS TELLING YOU THE TRAFFIC REPORTS TO SHUT THE F*** UP????!!!!
Seriously, I'm driving on the Freeway and I get the music cut constantly with the same ditz telling me "Traffic Congestion, 35 MPH on blah blah St." over and over again.... The same streets! One time is okay, but damn, almost ruined my whole drive the other night, my blood pressure was boiling and I'm yelling at a damn robot.
BTW I see nothing wrong with those Video's, and thought they were pretty funny. If it isn't working for him, don't blast him for sharing it with others.

I haven't had mine updated since I bought it in summer of 2009. Racer M had the dealer in SM try to fix it and they updated it. But if you can't get it either, then maybe the update left it out or something.....

My post isn't a rant, its a legitimate complaint backed up by video examples of the issue and at hand. I admit I am sarcastic in my complaint because I have had nothing but bad luck with this car since I got it. Even after having it in service the issue isn't fixed. With that being said, I cannot sell it because it is a lease. And because it has depreciated like no other car I have ever had before (dealers taking $22-25k off MSRP) nobody will take over my payment because it is 2X what they could go get a brand new one for. In other words: I am screwed!
After your other thread rant and this one, I was in the mindset screw it man, just sell it. However, you do have a point on the Nav. On the lease part, oh well...

I went into the settings and just unchecked everything there! Then one by one turned it back on. I can't remember the name, but it was something logo notifications or something like that. I'll check it next time, but to be honest, I can't say I would remember even looking at the menu. It really was this trial and error thing.

You know what? After looking over your videos regarding the NAV yeah, it does suck in some ways. That is about the only complaint I have myself, wish it was more updated with functions and more intuitive.

I'm still curious why I can get the POI that Racer M can't. I have basically the same system (2009 was the later COMAND) but I can input while in motion and don't have the traffic audio (it's only visual.)
Times have changed in the last 10 years. It used to be all about performance only but now we've been spoiled and want all the toys, too. LOL. Does Thomas Guide even publish their map books anymore?

Yeah, it was so annoying! It's in the nav settings, you can turn it off!

I gotta try and remember the POI thing when I drive my Car next, hopefully mine's cool.
One thing M-B Nav has always sucked with is not providing an exact address destination.

POI Error on C Class W203 Navi
Does anyone know why my C320 Navi shows POI out of state POI when it should within distance or within the City?
example: when I go to POI and search by the name for Costco, it shows me in different states or Canada when Costco wholesale is within a few miles.
