My W212 E63 AMG Dropped with HRE's and few other mods...
How do you like the overall experience of the new E to the M3, or any other relatively comparable whips that you've had?
BTW I don't really like you, as you're paying about as much for your E63 as I am for my E350, if I remember correctly.

The E is a big luxo cruiser that is great for the freeways. I appreciate the amenities inside although I think MBZ cheapen the quality of materials in certain aspects on this car compared to my W211 E55 (not even close to my CL65). But Im not so much a nitpicker on creature comforts as I am on function and external form. I really think this car is a looker now that I have done the mods and have a had a good chance to see it daily. I like the car in high speed straights and high speed turns almost more than my M. The M's suspension flexes and it tends to wiggle at higher speeds. Of course on sharp turns the M was the handler--- almost like a scalpel.
Overall Im very happy with the car although I would not have paid retail or even invoice for this car. But with the deal I got, as you alluded to, I couldnt pass it up.
A few engine mods and minor suspension adjustments and I should be good for about a year

My Vorsteiner parts are in but that consists of the front spoiler, rear trunk spoiler and rear diffuser. I think the roof spoiler would be a waste of time since I have the black pano plus it wont match up with the carbon vorsteiner parts.

That's funny you say that about the looks. I feel the W212's look is kind of a mix between familiar, and "future" for M-B, in respect to how M-B really detailed and sculpted the car. As my eyes get more and more acclimated to the design, I find it to be perhaps the sharpest and most complex/artsy out there, which naturally I now really appreciate from it. It's very angular and dynamic, so I feel my eyes had to train to really appreciate it. Also, yeah, the car REALLY shines with the right color combo, options, and some "clean-up" mods.
Enjoy.
