Im used to 20 inch wheels but you can feel more of the road with the lower profile tires. I did drop about 7 lbs on each corner in unsprung weight. The stock 18's are tanks. I used H&R springs for the front and the links are the stock ones with the sensors adjusted. If you change the angle on the sensor of the factory link it will push the shocks down.[/QUOTE]
Vic could you explain in a little more detail how you adjust the rear sensors to bring the back end down, I remember the adjustable ones for the 211's, you just made them longer in the front to push down on the air shocks and vice versa for the back, I am in the final stages of my deal for a 212 and I want to drop it just like yours right away, thanks in advance

I didnt do the actual drop myself, I had a tech/friend do it but its pretty much the same as the W211 I believe. I think he adjusted some bolt either longer or shorter to force the system to lower the air shocks. Either way it was a very quick fix and not laborious. The only part that took some time was fine tuning it to get the right drop on the left and right side (equal drop).
Thanks Vic, I believe Renntech has the adjustable links, I saw a pic of them in another form gonna order them and then get a set of the H R springs, maybe they will have the ones for the 550 by now

I actually dont mind the 350 springs, since it allows the car to drop just a little more. I dont track it and it handles relatively the same as stock and I get the real drop I wanted.

Very sick bro, I've been checking out this post and I also have been waiting on the new pics, I picked up one up black w212 also it's not a 63 but it'll have to do, I'm doing a few simple mods to it, obviously it's not going to be as nice as yours but I'm going for the classy look I'll post some pictures when I'm done with it. Very sick Vic
