My Designo Cashmere (Matte White) E63
#26
As far as driving experience is concerned, I have only driven the car home from the dealership and once to the gym so I am really not yet qualified to answer. I love both the manual and sport+ drive programs. The exhaust note is wonderful and the car is a far better dynamic driver than my previous E55's.

ABSOLUTELY SICK!!! I wish I knew they was available. I may have even held off for a 2011 for this paint! wow. Anyone who says the E212 E63 is not a good looking car needs to see these pics before they speak again

wow looking pretty sick!!!! I just saw a matte white SL63 at the dealership the other day. I must say, the designo cashmere looks absolutely amazing in person.

Gorgeous color. I was also very curious about the paint-care instructions.
I too am shocked that matte paint requires no waxing or care of any kind, other than washes...but then again what type of wax would properly protect this type of paint w/out making the finish shiny. Such a strange paint but so trick looking.

I wonder what the durability/longetivity of this paint is like? I.e, can it still look like-new after 10-20+ years (like normal, well cared for paints)?
It so, AND it requires no maintenance to get that, then I'm in love, complete, and total love.

If it's anything like the BMW frozen gray, it sounds like a lot of maintenance/repaints in the future. Apparently rubbing the surface too hard when washing can cause a glossy spot...only fixed with a repaint, since it's the texture of the paint that makes it matte in the first place. Sure looks killer though.

I think i sat in your car before you!
It is a gorgeous car, it even has an alcantara roofliner! Ive seen this car too many times, its pure sex. there was also a CLS 63 with the matte white also.

I will buy all of my future MB's from Schumacher's. Wonderful dealership that is truly a class act. Kevin Steele, the General Manager, is without peer.

Excellent looking ride, sir. Seeing as you've had the car for a few months, are you noticing any issues with the matte paint staying matte? As mentioned above, I've heard that washing can cause some bright spots.
I'm in love with that color...
