TPMS on W212

Has anyone installed wheels WITHOUT a set of TPMS? If so, did the car throw off any error messages? I never look at the tire pressure screen on the dash anyways and have an electronic tire guage so i'm wondering if its worth the expense to install a new set.

Thanks

You should be able to re-use your OEM TPMS sensors with a set of aftermarket wheels. At least you can with HRE wheels.

I was going to keep the other wheels for the winter set leaving the TPMS in place on those wheels. Undecided whether I want to drop the cash on sensor I rarely look at (as long as it doesn't do anything funky to the cpu)
