Exclamation problem with heat, cold weather drivers please help

Hey guys, I love in nyc and i noticed my heat in my 2010 e63 is not working great.

When i turn the heat on with the ac off, at 75f im getting warm/cold air at 77 im getting minimal warm air (not hot) and over 82f im getting hot air.

Most of my other cars and old benzes gave warm/hot air at 73f and above. Can anyone comment. Is this a problem in my car?

Glad you're finding love in NYC.

No problems here with my heater (knock on wood). The heater on my car warms up pretty quick actually. I'm usually between 73 and 75 and its comfortable. What really sucks is we don't have the heated steering wheel. MB cheapos....even my friend's old maxima had a heated wheel.

73-75 is hot air for you or warm...........maybe its not a problem in my car.

but 73 is cold/warm air for me.

on another note all bmws have heated wheels and i always thought it was a waste of money, until i got rid of my bmw. i hate wearing gloves in the winter

I noticed that when the difference between outside and inside target temperature is less than 10F the automatic climate control does not work well. So many sensors, so much technology and it just does not work well. I must admit that in my W211 E63 i did not have the same problem even though I assume it is the same climate control set up overall?

It really depends what the temperature is in your car. It might be blowing coolish air at 75 b/c the interior is already at 75 and the temperature of the air flow is what is required to maintain 75 in the cabin. I'm not paying much attention to the number, if its cold I crank it up, hot and it goes down.
