where is the engine ECU located on a W212 E63
a friend has a dual clutch E63 (late MY 2010 i think,) and wants his ECU tuned. unfortunately, as there are no official tuners here in my country, he needs to remove the ECU and have it shipped out to get it done.
where exactly is it located? its not in the usual place as other MB's apparently...

I had mine tuned, wasnt paying very close attention to where it was connected but it seemed like it was pretty down low at the front-left section. I am not sure though.
Oh, and the E63 does not have a double clutch gearbox :P

oops, my bad... i guess i was confusing it with the latest C63. the E63 still has the 7-speed "Speedshift" auto box right?
anyway, will tell my friend to try poking around down there.
