It'll be quicker without the badges, too. Less air resistance.

Part of the reason I debadged mine was because it seems stupid to have those big honking 6.3 AMG badges on the side fenders when it's actually a 6.2 liter motor

As if a 6.2L isn't big enough, M-B has to lie/false advertise a 6.3L.

I gotta say, M-B/AMG Marketing departments heads are in the sand when it comes to badging lately, it's pretty ridiculous.

Even worse now with the 5.5L TT's.

Yeah, and of course they say it's only a "tip of the hat to history" and a bow to the 6.3 AMG Red Pig of yesteryear. Just like what they say about those funky dog haunches on your W212's rear fenders. Nobody knows what the Red Pig was and nobody knows what a Ponton was.
