Based on the options, the MSRP runs in the $112.6K range. But of course you can just bid up slowly up to your max amount. You never know you might get lucky. It's quite a well loaded car. Take off the pano, add Distronics (obviously cannot be with P30, and change to a non-black color--and it will be my ideal car.
When I first started looking into these cars there was a 2011 E63 loaded exactly like that car vdub posted up and for sale here in town. It had a whopping 89 miles on it and was a CPO car so you got that added warranty. Really only difference I can see and remember is the local car was black on black. Another difference though was the price, it was $89k, looking at that Honda dealerships site it appears they are way too proud of what they have.

Thanks for the other pointers towards new car purchases. Even though most of our cars were bought new it actually is something we try to avoid and prefer to buy slightly used. All of the Mercedes we bought over the years were fresh out of leases with the exception of the old diesel tank we still own.

Actually, all those tips/pointers apply to all car purchases, whether brand new, off lease, CPO, used--they all work the same way. By the way, I just edited and add more info to my previous post above.

Fair enough. Thus far I have been more trending what the cars are going up for than anything else. Made some offers here and there but nothing has progressed so far. But also not in a huge hurry since for all we know we might have to move overseas in the first quarter of next year, still waiting on what the next job position will be.

BTW I do not think the 2011 had painted brake calibers with the performance package. I have looked at a couple and just don't remember them being painted but I also was not looking specifically for that. I am going to test drive one next week though and will try to pay attention to that detail.

yeah i wonder how many hondas that car was traded in for,

ill take 2 accords a civic and a del sol

good advice above, ill check all those sites too

in regards to the trade in car, i figure i would be a better deal to sell that car completely independent of the purchase car, rather than make it a trade in?

The car at the Honda dealer belongs to the owner of the dealership. The pictures of the dash are old and it has 1600ish miles. Been exchanging emails with their sales guy.

Like I have said, it might be worthwhile. Don't limit yourself geographically. Just get it transported to your location.

You buy the car from the place selling it then a lot of times the dealer can recommend some shipping company to use. If they can't then just get online and a number of websites exist to get shipping quotes from. Just remember the TTL you will have to pay in your state and will not be rolled into the selling price at the dealer. That car at the Honda dealership though is listed for well over $100k and was $115k msrp originally. I'd be rather surprised if they accepted a reasonable offer on it.

Oh I thought u meant get it transferred prior to purchase. That's what I would want. I don't want to buy anything with personally checking it out.

We have bought cars out of state a few times. In all cases we flew there to finalize the deal and see the car. In some cases we drove the car home with the longest distance being south Florida to Texas. Unfortunately though depending on where you buy it if you plan to drive it back you can face some extra taxes.

Personally, I think the easiest is to fly there on a one-way ticket and drive it back. Hey, it will be a nice trip since the E63 is essentially a GT car perfect for such a long drive.

But in some cases you have to pay more in taxes doing that. For example if I buy in Cali and drive back then I have to pay some Cali specific taxes unless I have been grossly misinformed. Kind of sucks because we routinely have to travel for work anyway and would be a way to a free flight. We even get flown to Germany enough to make Euro Deliveries appealing but too bad MBZ does not do those on AMGs.

I see. It sure is important to find out everything about each individual state before carrying out anything like that.

What! No Euro deliveries for AMGs?!?! I'm learning new stuffs everyday, I tell 'ya.

You can do the ED on an AMG but you just save on the delivery charges.
