True! By the way, Porsche's quality is high amongst luxury car that I'm sure a comparison to a Caddy makes the difference even more obvious.

By the way, I though Recaro seats are usually really good.

Yes i agree i should not really compare porsche to caddy i just used it as a point that there is a big difference in my opinion. The porsche quality should and is better but if i compare my old c63s interior quality i feel it too is way better than the cts-v.

The problem i have with my cts-v recaros are that they wiggle while driving and feel loose. I guess its a known problem for the cts-v and if i would fight with gm i could prob have it fixed under warranty. The actual seat is not that bad altho it gets a bit uncomfy on long drives. In my opinion recaros are good for a short spirited driving session but not comfy on longer drives. I have recaros on my evo 9 and cts-v and both feel pretty much the same to me.

The exhaust note on the E63 has been the one big let down for me. Does not help that I fell in love with the exhaust note of the C63 prior to ever looking at an E63. For awhile there I thought perhaps the 2009 E63 cars maybe were more C63 like in the exhaust note. I however spent the day riding in one just this past weekend and the thing to me was even more quiet than the 2010-2011 cars. I suppose with some modifications it can get there with the note. Of course with some modifications I'd hope a CTS-V exhaust note could get far better than it's almost UPS truck like sound too.

The TT E63 exhaust notes to me is much better than the NA 63. I even had the post cats and resonators out on the NA63 and it did not sound as loud, deep, or as good as both my TT63's (with just resonators out).

I have yet to be inside the TT cars to judge their sound. I saw one at a light and from outside it seemed pretty quiet though at least louder than the 2009 E63 I was around last weekend.

The TT car is pretty throaty stock but even moreso with a simple resonator removal. My first one was acquired in Oct and I have had many chances to drive it, park, and then take out my E63 NA. IMHO, no comparo- the TT is rude, deep, and it barks on up shifts and throttle blips with the MCT.

I was blasting the wagon from a dig today getting on a toll road and it was firing away!!! Resonator removal is a must.

From some official AMG videos I had seen on the TT, AMG incorporated some types of controlled flaps within the exhaust system to enhance the exhaust note; maybe inside the resonator or post cats or other places. The goal they mentioned was to ehance the TT's sound. I wonder why they would go to that extend if all they had to do was the removal of certain parts. I'm not sure what type of sound aimed by AMG to appeal to buyers of such vehicles. It seems like the 6.2 N/A sound was fine for them but not that of the TT with modified exhuast.

IDK but as I have said in a few other threads my stock TT had a better start up and WOT sound than my stock NA 63. Then when I deleted the post cat and resonator on the NA 63 it sounded better than the stock TT but just barely. Once the resonator came off the TT- it was over.

I guess AMG is also trying to comply with local regulation on loudness of exhaust system per their description on exhaust development for the SLS. So the same probably goes for all their cars. Likely that's the reason for the toned down exhaust note.

It's just too bad there are too many whiners out there in the general public who cannot appreciate the sound most of us on forums like this would like to have.

I think it is more to do with the demographics for the buyers of the cars than any sound laws when looking at things like the E63 and CLS63. If it were about sound laws then why is the C63 so much louder than the other two? My guess is it is not laws but the fact the C63 tends to appeal to a younger crowd that tends to want more in your face attributes to a car.
