I can't wait for the 14 E63. I plan on ordering one once my dealer is accepting orders. For 13 Mercedes is offering the Bang and Olufsen stereo. I plan on specing the car out with the b&o. Has anyone heard it? Would love some feedback on the stereo. I am also hoping that they will offer some interior upgrades. I have always felt the interior needs full leather instead of full mb tex on the dash and door panels.

IMHO MB Tex is ideal on the dash and door ledge near the window due to the intense sun exposure at those locations. Cracking would be less likely with MB Tex.

I'm also interested in seeing the trunk of someone with the B&O. If you don't mind giving up your trunk space, then B&O will be for you.

The B&O system is also a $6,400 option bringing your starting price to $96,200 before you add any other options.

Personally, I would rather use the $6400 to upgrade the audio system at home. Of course, the B&O system would be worthwhile to those who spend extensively more time on the road than at home.

I plan on leasing so the stereo is residualized in my payment. For me it is more important than the performance package or carbon brakes. I hope to hear from someone who has listened to it. The HK system doesn't cut it for me.

For those of you using radar detectors I would also recommend staying away from from the driver assistance package which uses radar based cruise control (distronic plus) and will keep your radar detector going off. Stick with the lane tracking package

I own a radar and have the drivers assistance with the distronic and there is no interference at all.
