It works! Took me about 5 minutes to get Pandora working on my 2010 E63 with my Verizon Android DNA phone. Thanks!!!!!
So, has anyone had any problems after they did it?
But more importantly, why wold MB have this feature turned off???????

When did this become a standard feature? 2012?

It was always a standard feature, it's just that the Bluetooth command software wasn't update on the 2010

Now that I've had awhile to play with the bluetooth and streaming stuff I'm wondering if anyone else is having a few picky problems like me.
1st the read out in the middle of the instrument cluster and on the center screen always says "paused" even when music is streaming. If I hit the triangle play button it goes for about 5 seconds and then goes back to saying paused. The music is never affected either when I do this.
Last is that I cannot pick the "sound" option on the screen and adjust the speakers. I noticed the other day when I got in the back seat to check on my daughter it sounded like all the music was up front and I think it is.
Anyone else have these problems?

I don't have any of these issues with the new software.

Was there a charge for this software update? I'm having the same problem with my iPhone 5 that you were talking about. Thanks

Ya, I'd be curious to know too if they charge for the software update with a car that is still under warrantee? My car only has 15K miles on it, 2012 and there is no info displayed on the screen when I'm Bluetooth streaming, I think maybe a software update might correct this issue, I tried my galaxy phone in a 2013 and it did display song and artist on the screen.

Nope, they didnt charge me. I asked once before, and my SA was a ***** in NJ and he just didn't do it. When I got a new SA, I asked again and pointed out the problem and since BT is all but a given basic feature in today's cars (even in KIAs) they troubleshooted the problem which I told them as "the BT kept dropping my phone and others fixed it with the update." The SA kept the car a bit longer and told me the update was causing the computer to crash and they tried re-loading the software 4 times and on the 4th try it worked successfully. IF you keep pushing it, and if they give you any problem just use the line "really, 100 grand car that doesn't have a working BT streaming capability, REALLY?"....they'll get it.
