valve body replacement
i have a 2010 model and took it in to a local mercedes repair shop to get the trans and brake flush.
i noted to him before doing the service that the transmission was jerky
he put it on the scanner and said there was a code and feels the valve body prob needs to be replaced. vehicle is still under warranty so i am okay. anyone had to take their car in for the replacement? did this help your the jerky transmission?

I noticed my transmission is jerky too, but I haven't take it to the dealership and tell them about the jerky transmission. Since it's common in W212 E63 like previously discussed on other thread regarding the issue.

Updated software
I just had the "B" service completed and they updated the software on the transmission. It is less jerky in "C" mode. "S" and "S" + mode worked fine before and after the updated software.
MB Mechanic states: Some shuttering is normal for this transmission/wet clutch system on this vehicle.
I hope this helps.

I'm not sure why so many people mind about the jerkiness. After all, this car is not meant to be a Buick. I just hate the computer's learning of driving pattern. I really wish there is a reset function somewhere.
