Congrats on the new delivery. I was informed today by my dealer that my car has been delayed 15 days due to "logistics." I've already read every thread on this forum and watched every E63 youtube video imaginable, so what now to kill the time...

Vic Ty I like the clean front look too. I keep thinking about your liberal break in or lack of and wonder why they had to put that damn sticker on the window telling me to keep it under control for first thousand miles....

Thanks, no doubt tough to keep clean, but looks so damn good. My Bro wants one now and he can't get the same color so he will probably go with silver or steel grey hopefully looks good on the E63.

my e63 was iridium.....very nice color for a Benz....
one cool thing about that color is you get different shades depending on the lighting.....
but it's gone now.....(MY2011)
I really regretted not getting the p30, but it's just as well, because I wanted the cls anywayand traded the E towards it
but I really did love the w212.....the start-up was soo good

Have to briefly change subject of thread. Has anyone experienced an error message when driving that shows the car in profile with a red line going up from the windshield. According to the manual it looks like the hood open warning, but I have shut it several times and it seems secure.

That is the hood up message. My cls63 hood up sensor was a little touchy and I had to have it adjusted to keep from having to slam it shut to avoid the error message.

Closed it with a wider base seemed to work. I think I was closing to close to the middle of hood. I guess there are there catches have to get them all. Guess AMG wants the hood fully secured when your blasting down the Autobahn at 186.
