Wow, three across... I can see that being difficult

Too bad they shortchange the wagon lineup and don't offer an E550
wagon as I would have gone for that.

More pics please when you get a chance.
Congrats on your order! More pics are coming soon!

OMG, don't tell me you have all those canines! There are a dozen of them in that pic alone.

By the way, some company needs to come up with a thinner shell child's seat so more can fit across regular cars.

@Otakki: I'm just about to move my kidlet into a convertible seat and have been doing research on car seats and the Diono (Sunshine Kids) Radian seats are very slim and personally know a lot of people that fit three across in a sedan.

The other seat i was looking at is brand new and won't be out until Aug/Sept and the company is called Clek. The new seat is called the Foonf. It's my choice based on coolness factor cause it looks like a fixed back racing seat!!!

I'm going to be ordering a Britax seat, and they are HUGE!!! will most definitely not fit 3 across!

recaro prosport all the way, ive got 2, they are excellent, not too wide, but those are items i wont compromise shape and price for

britax are popular but huge, like a bath tub

the dionos ive heard of for 3 across, i think someone fit them in their w220 for a magazine article, but theres no way to fit 3 across in an w212, or even the gl series is narrow

just watched the video on foof, interesting , twice the price of the recaro's but interesting.

oh and i dont like the rigid latches, i think that will be much harder to attach to the car, even though there is a standard size of width

i had so much trouble putting seats in my w203, but the new car and denali are easier

I was actually thinking that the rigid latches would be easier to install, just kinda push and click! Everytime I've put a seat into my bro's or my car for my nephews, I come out of it sweating my *** off! pulling all those straps and contorting yourself is a PIA!

i think it will be car dependent,

most cars dont have 3 sets of isofix across though

the mercs have them on the sides, but the denali has them on middle and right side

Congrats on the beauty! I asked private lounge why no 3rd row, and they stated due to suspension changes compared to e350 wagon..

Have you seen a way to do custom/ aftermarket 2 rear facing seats? Would love to have 7 seated for the kids!

I plan on getting it on a lift shortly to do some exploring, I had originally though it was for exhaust routing, but suspension could be a reason as well.

3rd row seats

hey guys, I'm working with a local tuner here in the Bay Area and we're pretty sure the third row is do-able in an E63 wagon. proof will be in the doing, and until i post pics of it done even I'll wonder, but feeling pretty positive for now. will keep you guys posted

Never been excited about seats! Keep us posted.. I want this wagon and need 7 seats!

Derek@Mac is probably right about exhaust being the reason.. It was a while ago when I asked PL and may have remembered incorrectly..

Great looking alloys and nicely lowered! Alas, at least I can drool at yours while I'm waiting for mine, looking at Oct. build.
