so if i can find a decent 2013 without those options then the best rount would be to just go aftermarket tune, downpipes and a Quaife LSD and it would be as good (or better) than finding one with factory P30 and LSD option...
i've been searching for a used 2013 E63 AMG the past 2-3 weeks and man they are not very common in Chicago where i live or within 300 miles. might have to take a trip to some warm weather climates where there are a few more 2013's for sale and go that route.

I would do an aftermarket lsd (wavetrac for example) and get more out of it. I have the wavetrac on my 55 and it made the frumpy suspension on that car come alive in turns. I can only imagine what it will feel like on this car with an already much better stock suspension

Keep it stock? Go P30. Enjoy the extra boost, better map, red calipers, and maybe LSD if its included.
Plant to modify it? Go without P30 save yourself the money.
Plan to sell in 3-5 years? Go P30. Its easier to sell to private parties and higher resale value.
My personal experience, I skipped getting the P30 on my C63 and saved the money because I was going to tune it and modify it. I had the extra money for mods and it seemed to work out well. 4 years later I was ready to sell the car and I had 3 separate buyers ready to buy that skipped on the car because it was missing P30. I ended up dropping the price and selling it
It's a damned if you do and damned if you dont kind of thing.

my opinion is yes The power made is close, the low end power is better in my opinion BUT!! The SLS internals and the reduced internal rotation weight is worth it.

As far as your accident report two ways to Handel it chase the vin to the source most places that are reputable will help, you can also find a place that has a bosh ecu reader they use them for accidents to determine how fast, the day it happens, where at on the car it was hit. You can also use a paint tool to check the mil thickness on your paint.
