I was surprised to see this notice on screen today "Service A exceeded by 15 days" My 2012 E 63 PP was purchased in March of 2012 and has 1700 mi on it.
Checked oil and it is OK. Why this message? Anybody else experience this?

Did you order the vehicle? If not, the car could have possibly been received at the dealer around late December-ish and PDI'd. That is when the service reminders start regardless, or 10,000 miles.

Not sure if the service intervals are the same in the USA. But, in Canada the bi-turbo E63s with the PP need to go in at 3,000KM to have differential fluid replaced. Maybe that's it?

does you PP package include lsd, ours does not,

Yes, they do include LSD with the Performance package for Canadian cars.

PeenApple is correct computer says car is 1 year old. Dealer says must be serviced to comply with warranty.

Took car to dealer for Service A. I'm too embarrased to tell you what the cost was for a glorified oil change.

Unfortunately, no Indys near me.

If you purchased it "new", the dealer was supposed to reset the date so day one was when you drove the car off the lot. If the dealer want to get it right, they can wipe out the message and you come in on April for your Service A.
