Well long story short I've been through a lot with the GTR first to own one in queens ny. First to blow the transmission around here. Waited 4 months for an upgraded 1st gear from ppg to develop one. Sent car to Georgia dumped 35k into it wife hates me for that, didn't want any other issues with it so I got rid of it before I broke it again. Guy that purchased it from me blew up the motor few months after he purchased it from me! Now it's a 9 sec GTR

Nick, so I've had the e63 for a week now. It's a non pp car, maybe that's the reason, but the throttle response is not what I expected. I had a m156 in a ML63 w a custom tune from AMS performance. After the tune the the throttle response was amazing and the truck was a rocket off the line. It's shocking to say but it literally felt peppier and torquier rt off the line then my m157 e. It feels like it's throttle has got a lot of tq management that dumbs down the response. Is this all resolved w a tune? Is what I'm experiencing normal, should I b concerned / take to dealer? Car is flawless and love everything about it otherwise, just a little underwhelmed w off the line throttle response, and power....

You have two awesome cars!!! When I first got my E63 also non PP, felt slow for me also! Did the EUROCHARGED tune and car is an absolute beast, spins thru all it's gears, do a tune anyone you go with will have you smiling from ear to ear

I'm glad I'm not the only 1 that feels this car is kinda slower then I was expecting, so tune fixes that... And throttle response/tip in 2? I like that immediate "jump" off the line response my tuned m156 had. Chris black of ams told me that the m156 had all kinds funky **** w the throttle tuning, hoping it's similarly an easy fix w m157

Ive had a few visits to the dealer modded and no issues at all! Twice for stalling and hestitation due to spark plugs failing. Both times I told them do not flash my ecu just fix my plugs and no problems at all. If Renntech claims that they guarantee no warranty issue then I would say pay the $3000 for a tune but otherwise its just robbery, I paid $899 and my car is a beast i would not drive this car or want to own it in stock form! Once your E63 is tuned your 552Awhp gtr will have a problem running itad pulling it on the highway, a dead stop race is a diff story but on the highway is where you will shine
