I can't believe you guys... this car looks way fresher than the current E class... the current model's huge grille and hood ornament make it look like an old man's car. I like the new look better than the current C class.

The wheels aren't the same as the ones on the press release photos... better wheels will do a lot for the look of the car.

Plus are you all forgetting that the car will have 585hp, AWD and will do 0-60 in 3.5s??

The grille and his ornament are easy fixes. And performance isn't everything. Some folks detest the way a GTR looks, but it'll beat the pants off cars twice the price. Sure, that'll sell, but what about aesthetics? I think most folks agree on this board that whether or not you like the new look, the AMG version of the new E-class design is underwhelming. BMW is doing a good job at making good looking base cars and creating M versions of them that look beefier.

I don't like the round bulbous front fenders. reminds me of the new ML. I prefer the look of a flared fender.

If they're so easy to fix then why does practically every E63 out there have the OEM versions?

And if perfomance wasn't important we'd all be in C350s, not C63s. The new E63 will be almost as fast as an SLS, and can be driven year round in winter climates.

I have been contemplating the replacement for my C63 for nearly a year and this is the only car out there that gives you more of everything... speed, luxury & utility.

As soon as someone puts some 20s and a tint on the new E a lot of ppl will be changing their tunes!

I just put a deposit down on one mere hours ago. I like the look a lot more than the previous versions. They looked way too old school for my tastes. I think the average age of buyers of this car will drop by at least 10-15 years now. It's been -40 with the wind chill yesterday and today, and this is finally a year round car I could really enjoy. I had to sell my C63 because it was completely useless in the winter. Hopefully it will arrive before the snow falls in the spring.

I have complained so much about the front that I'm not going to say anything more.

There is something about the rear quad exhausts in those Barcelona photos. For some reason, the quad exhausts don't seem to integrate well with the rear end...unlike those in the original press photos. The lower area of the rear bumper seems a little "cluttered," or "busy."

Agree on the rear quads. In photos, it appears overdone and disjointed. I have never been one to bash new models, however, the more I look at this car the less I like it. Hopefully on the showroom floor the ugly duckling grows into a swan.

i saw it in detroit and it truly is a good looking car, have to see it in person! because pictures dont do a justice. White with the carbon fiber package makes the car look beautiful. i like the cla from the front, but im not sure about the rear end, it doesnt really flow together.

I put the deposit down at David Morris. They don't have much info right now. My sales guy is awesome though (incredible after sales service on our GL), the second he sees info I will know about it. He is guessing at delivery around Sept. He figures with it not be a full redesign the pricing should stay about the same with the addition of the 4matic adding a few grand extra.

But the big question is: what will MB want for the "S Model" option. If you add up the present cost of PP, LSD, backlit door sills, you're at $9500. But they're tossing in a bunch of other junk like chrome bits, contrast stitching, S badge, embossed seats. Makes me wonder if they want a much larger price premium for S.

A little extra info: I'm first on the list to order one from my dealer and they are expecting build sheets to be out some time this month or early March with an August delivery. I'm going to skip the S package and go with Renntech or Kleemann.
