Mercedes E63 AMG stolen in Spain
Dear all of you,
Between the 28/03 and 31/03 of 2013 my house in Spain was fully robbed while I was on holiday with my family. The most important of all goods was my Mercedes E63 AMG which was stolen as well. Registration number LO61USU (GB) VIN WDD2120742A582835 with the right hand steering wheel. I really hope it will be found and returned. Any information about the car will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

It is a question! First few days all of us were in trans and depression. I myself did not want to do anything. It was was not the only Mercedes was stolen. All our electronic technique, goods and clothes were also disappeared and the house damaged. Indeed for me the most valuable were the car and my guitar Gibson LP. Then the next few days were dedicated to usual routine - police, insurance companies and so on. But after that, when I understood that the police was not really willing to investigate and all the insurance companies were not going to cover anything my mind and inner condition were strengthen and stabilized. I have looked at this all from the other point of view. "Change your life". "Get started from the scratch". "Get rid of your sadness". Also I have begun to chase the robberies and have also discovered myself as a good private investigator. Perhaps I should change my profession. So later I have found out the idea to share the info with the others great. And now I filling myself better. I appreciate the comments of all of you very much. Thanks a lot.

It definitely sucks to have that happen. See my question on MB's ability to track it. Please keep us posted of your recovery progress.

Not sure about Spain's Police Dept methods, but to Ottaki's point, our cars have a system similar system to LoJack. Not exactly sure who tracks signal (3rd party company?), but a late model stolen MB in US can be tracked. Local pd can be hooked up with stolen vehicle's location. Some onboard systems (ONSTAR?), even have more advanced and sophisticated anti-theft features, including vehicle disable signal, initiated by tracking company, once police have vehicle in sight. good luck with your recovery from break-in.

Once the vehicle in placed into a metal container, I think your transmitting is over. So, unless they are driving around Spain, my guess would be its on its way to some other country..

I am sure that it will be unbelievable for most of you. After about 2 months of my own investigation of the robbery (it likes the police in Spain is not really able to use the method of the deduction) and after the advice of one person I had met I recently flew to Moscow and attended the church of Ioanne Voine (Joanne Warrior) where I prayed and entreat him to help me to return the stolen goods and particularly the car. Then I order a church service for the health and for the returning the goods and in 2-3 days I got informed the car was recovered. Whether you believe or not it has happened. The car was not damaged, just the alloy wheels were scratched very much. Now I am on the process of the recovering of the car (I did not expected that it would be so complicated).

Why would you drive 1200+ miles from the UK (you have london plates) to Spain then fly on vacation to Russia? Isn't spain a LHD country? Why not just buy a LHD AMG there? Are the prices substantially cheaper in the UK? Since you can afford an AMG I'm going to guess you have two residences but that drive seems a bit silly? (real questions)
