Vented hood for W212 E63 BiTurbo, ANYONE?

laminate on top of the hood would achieve no weight reduction and make car look like like da poops

I have a carbon fiber hood, not this one specifically though. It is vented and I can see hot air coming from the vents quite often. I can also tell you it does not weigh much less than the stock hood which is very light to begin with.

Well, I apparently got scammed here. Been 3.5 weeks past the promised ship date and 3 weeks since MHP has responded to my emails. Luckily I paid with credit card so it's all coming back the hard way if I don't get either a tracking number or a refund by Friday.

not surprised with all the mhp stories over the years and the fact that they were banned off mbworld some time ago

Didn't even know they were still in business but if they made it this long with all the crap they put out in the beginning you'd think they had to have cleaned up their act a bit...

its crazy but they are still in business and even have a tune for M157... i wouldnt go near them though from all that i read in the past

Disputed the credit-card charge of $3,490.00. Since the promised shipping day was 9/22 and MHP (modernhorsepower.com, "Modern Horsepower LLC") has refused all contact since 9/27, it's hard to believe this won't be an open-and-shut case.

I need a vented hood
I got it two weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to really push the car since but i can tell you that i see I need a vented hoodheat coming out of the vents (especially drivers side).
Quality is great (got double sided dry carbon), extremely light, and its 100% bolt on. Only thing you will need is this part from autozone #ML3000 (everything else is transferable)
Will try and post some pics of it when i get a chance.
