Canadian option packages can be different from USA. I have attached information on the 773 Carbon fiber package and the Night styling package (which includes matte black 10 spoke wheels that I don't believe the U.S. does. They are also available as standalone option).

I have yet to be made aware of pricing on models and options for either regular E63 or S models. There is no longer any performance package.

I have been given a delivery date of late November but have been informed that MB Canada have advised that there is likely to be a 1 to 2 month delay on E63 and S models due to shortage of completed engines.

The S starts at $110,000 and the "non-S" at $103,000.

I like the Night Package ($1100) but don't care for the black mirrors or the matte black rims...

Looks like we might all be taking delivery on winter tires. Oh well, car needs to be broken in gently anyway.

I want the CF exterior over the night package. Also I want the gunmetal wheels, not matte black. but I don't like the chrome trim over the exhaust, and the night pack seems to be the only way to get rid of it. Even on a 125k car you can't get all you want I guess.

What I have heard is that it isn't the engines (M157), it's the panoramic roofs.

The engine shortage is with the M156, the 6.2 engines.

I am not sure which it is. I actually saw the email from MB Canada stating that the E63 would be delayed because of engines (which should all be M157). I do not know any more than that other than the sales person, who was just in Germany, also told me that the factory said the same thing and would not compromise the 1 man, 1 engine philosophy to speed up production.

Here's hoping for an early turn around!

Hope it's not delayed, this wait is bad enough!

Same here was supposed to get september build and november delivery but now is december (not even sure) build and february delivery. Serious shortage of engines... I'm getting 2nd allocation for my dealer for a 2014 biturbo AMG product, both e wagons. No other cars are planned to be built in 2013 for my dealer. Seems 4matic is making sales skyrocket to an unplanned level.

That's not good to hear. Especially considering how jealous I am that some guys in the states are getting their cars this week.

You would think that they would have built enough motors to fill at least the first round of allocations, and that they shouldn't be pushed back at all.

Hopefully the delays are a sign that they aren't sacrificing quality given the apparant popularity of the car.

I received good news (all being relative considering us deliveries are starting!) from my salesman this afternoon. He was able to trade in a slot with another dealer so I got an "official" build and delivery date: build 10/12/13 delivery 26/1/14. From the allocation number it seems i moved 5 build slots up: was 0370164705 now i am 0370164700. We should sit in november for final choice of options... I was surprised since i talked ro him the day before!

My sales guy told me there is a huge limitation on wagons. On top of that, there is an engine shortage, panoramic roof shortage, among other items.

Looks like our cars will built around the same time.

Definitely drive it year-round once I get my hand on one. But I'm already doing that and especially now I have moved to a place with little wintery conditions. Most AMG's are not collectors' cars and you are only losing money if you don't drive it.

Yes for sure winter driveability is the main reason I got rid of the C63 in april and ordered that car. It will be my all year round daily driver and i'll pass the XWD Saab to my wife. I'm already looking for winter tires since the choices will be limited in january/february once the car is going to be there! I'm considering the carbon ceramic brakes so 19" winters are quite harder to find in those dimensions. I will probably use the stock wheels and swap tires inthe fall and spring...

2014 cls63 4 matic is on Mercedes.ca for building so I would think e63 should be up there soon. And I would think options would be pretty much the same no?

It sucks. In Canada, You have to get the $9000 "s" model package if you want cc brakes. So in essence.they make.you pay 22000 for cc brakes. On the other hand they grouped the multicountour drivers seat, climate comfort seats, and illuminated door sills standard with the."s" package, so the premium package is barely worth getting unless you have to have a backup camera and.keyless go, which I could care less about.
