Hello gents! Well I have been trolling that one E63P order thread for months, because I ordered a similar car at a similar time so I thought it was now suitable for me to sign up.

A little about me....(flame suit ON) I have been an M3 driver since the late 90s. Ive owned several and still have one left (1998 M3 Sedan) but have recently sold my E92 M3 coupe and am getting into an E63P.

My AMG will be Diamond White over full black leather, with a pano roof, the AMG forged wheels (traditional style not the freaky new black ones), lane change assist and a few other goodies. I am SO EXCITED to receive this car.

I have owned a few Benz cars in the past including a 2006 CLK500 and a 2008 E350 Sport with the AMG appearance package, both used as DDs to my M3 being a weekend car. I loved the E but didnt care for the CLK.

I was able to view a manufacturer AMG 2014 E63 (non S model) at my local dealer 2 weeks ago, as they had the AMG trainer there, they allowed me to come look at the car and he took me for a ride....WOW this car is a monster. Everything about it is just pure silk. My business partner drives a Diamond White 2012 CLS63 with PP, so I am familiar with the newer AMGs. The power delivery and smoothness of the E63 is dead on, although I wasnt behind the wheel, I could feel plenty from the passenger seat.

Quite honestly the Non S Model really looks gorgeous, I thought I wasnt going to like it, as many of the online reviews paint the Non S as a "not so stand out" AMG car. I cannot wait to see my S model as it is just going to be that much cooler.

Anyway, I am looking forward to posting on a forum with a more mature audience. The sale of my M3 reminded me of how many kids and morons get their hands on these cars once they fall below the $40k mark.

Welcome! Excited to see pictures of your new beast when it arrives (Do you have a delivery date idea?). Where are you located? UK? Will be interesting to get different S-model feedback based on AWD/RWD in different regions.

I am trying to decide between pano roof or not right now...

Thanks! I am in the US (Florida) so it will be a 4matic. The rep that drove me in the manufactures car was able to shread tires with ease it didnt feel like awd at all.

I have no idea when I'm getting the car I hope this week!

What color are ordering? Honestly that would be my deciding factor on pano. If your getting any color except black I think the pano is a no brainer

Getting one after years of depreciation is easy. Being able to maintain one when something fails is the real test of ability to own. Like I have always said, if you cannot afford the maintenance/repair, you can't really afford it in the first place. That concept is pretty much true with every material ownership in life.

I have Diamond White with all black interior i didnt want to wait for designo and all that good stuff. it has lane tracking, distronic, parktronic, and i opted for the pano roof as i love the look on a white car.

I just saw that the exterior carbon package was $5500 woowwww not sure if that is worth it or not.

You will definitely have to join the AMG private lounge it is an awesome forum/website

thanks for the warm welcome guys. I am tired of Carbon Fiber. I had a CF roof on my M3 which was plenty, I can only imagine what $5500 in CF would do to a benz, I am sure it is overkill. I like the black trim, I think its going to look SICK. Just got a call from the dealer, confirmed the deal and delivery for Saturday morning. Im not going to be sleeping much this week!
