E63 Sold - and moved on to new ventures
I have sold my 2010 E63 with 22,000 km. wasn't planning on it, but the dealer had a buyer for a low mileage E63, and kept bugging me to sell it to them. They offered me retail for it, so I let it go. Was sad at first, because I really liked the car, and was attached to it. It was my first AMG, and a trouble free experience. Was gonna get into a CLS63, but then came across a mint 2011 SLS AMG, with 6,700 km. One owner car from Victoria, BC. It's silver with red interior - the "classic" Gullwing. So with the help of my dealer, and what I feel an attractive deal, I ended up pulling the trigger. Flew down to Victoria, and drove it back to Winnipeg, a beautiful drive through the Okanagan Valley, and the Rocky Mountains, and 2,400 km later, I am now the proud owner of an SLS. So far I absolutely love the car, and it made my sadness go away very quickly ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I took the "clear" W212 tail lights off the E, before letting it go. If somebody is interested, I would consider selling them. Shoot me an offer. They are in excellent shape, virtually new. If you do a search on my posts, there should be pictures on here which I believe I did post.
Cheers to all my past fellow E63 enthusiasts. I'll still keep lurking in the W212 AMG section

Noooooo...another E63 is gone. But since it's a '10, at least you have hopped back into a similar M156 derived engined car. Hey, going to a SLS is a major upgrade. I would have attempted it too if it wasn't for my need for an E63's utility.
Hey, your MB sedan collection seems to have somewhat of a resemblance to that of vdubpower.

Yes, they are different animals. The SLS obviously is more powerful, but it is also harsher. I kind of got used to the damping system in my E63 with the adjustable suspension settings. The 2011 SLS doesn't have that. But other then that, it's a great vehicle. Very balanced, and solid. Our roads are not the greatest in Manitoba, actually they really suck. But I had a blast driving it from the West Coast to the Prairies. Handles superb. The sound of that thing is just unreal, and it is quite a head turner. Lots of people have given me the thumbs up, or came to talk and ask about the car.
