I bet it will be tough looking at that 'race start' notch on the dial for 500 miles!
Once you hit the break in the next request could be for a 4 wheel patch of rubber

It's been REALLY hard to not punch the throttle and try out all of the electronic RS goodies. It's also a difficult car to drive slow. I let my CFO take it for a spin today (she drives a 2013 ML350) and we pulled out of my office, she didnt nail it at all and I told her "hey your doing 70" and she was shocked. It's a really smooth sleek ride. Big difference from my previous rides. Very happy so far no complaints except I'm trying to get the right height on the seat. I have a habit of resting my left elbow on the door. I feel like the door is much "taller" than my M3 and I keep going to rest my elbow but it's too high. I'm sure ill get it right! That's the least of my worries!!

For your driving position remember you have three memory slots so if you have one you think is close just save it while you play around. I have a laid back one for the highway and an upright one for around town. The side bolsters should be adjustable too.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
These are fine cars, I don't think I'll ever go back to anything other than a Benz. I had a 2012 and a 2013 CTS-V's and am so done with those cars, they might handle a little bit better, but the build quality, features and materials are just so much better in the Benz.

I had an e92 m3 the same time as my C63 for a while and I thought that the C63 was a big difference in DD speed from the M3. I can only imagine the jump to an e63... Wait until you get on it.

Well thank you for the seat suggestion. That was very nice of you ill try that today. As for the E92, I had a 2009. Loved the car and it was a garage queen for its first few years then something just changed inside me and I thought it was rediculous to own these cars and not drive them, so I started DDing it. First year was fun then it became annoying in traffic, when I had people in the car, on the phone, etc. I didn't care for the M5 at all the Benz was so worth the wait (haha I have the nerve to say that when everyone else is waiting now). I still have a 1998 BMW M3 that I love but it's a fun car no way can I drive it for more than twice a month. Boy are we spoiled!!
As for the V Cadis, never drove one nor do I have a desire to. My buddy has one and he likes it but doesn't love it. He has the CTS-V sedan. It's probably about 4 years old now. I went with him to pick it up, he was all excited. They had it in the showroom at Dimit Cadi the sales guy popped the hood then slammed it down and the hood spring flew off and flew across the showroom. That was enough for me. True story.

You guys just emailed the pics back and forth! Its really only one car right ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Looks great. Nice clock pic! (Don't want to miss spell that one!)
Can either one of you guys check the manual for me and double check the wheel offset? I am about to pickup a set of winter wheels and tires and want to make sure I am not buying a really nice coffee table stand...![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

Love the car! I'm deciding between that and the RS7. I've had a few Audi's but I've never had a benz. Can you comment on the ride in comfort mode, is it as smooth as most large sedans or is it still stiff?

Haha on the clock pic. I was going to make fun of that pic too.
The newer AMGs are perfect because they are so adjustable. In comfort the car is very tame, soft and luxury car like, just as a Benz is historically known for. In sport/sport + and sport 1/2 the car transforms. It's not just a button like its been in so many cars throughout the years, it's truly an adjustment to how the car reacts. Very cool technology. I really would never consider an Audi so I'm not really your guy to compare the two.

4 of us long-time Audi club enthusiasts in Chicago kicked this around, too. Two of us chose '14 E63 and two of us chose '14 RS7. After owning a string of Audi's for the last 13 yrs, my wife and I finally see that Audi simply isn't making cars for enthusiasts, in fact they seem to actively dislike us. We chose the E63 because we wanted a wagon (and Audi has entirely abandoned wagons for the US) and we think the RS7 looks hideous. The RS7 interior is outstanding, but wow, that's an ugly car... The RS6 would have been nice, now that's good looking.

I too was on the fence between the RS7 and the E63. To me it basically came down to costs...the Audi lease quote I was getting was about $700/mo more than the E63. Not worth it to me.
