2014 e63S wagon
E63 Estate
Picked this up last week after a seemingly endless wait. Car is spectactular. I have owned an RS6 and an RS4 in the past. This car handles like the RS4 and is significantly faster than my tuned RS6 was.

I had tint, clear bra, emblems blacked out - plastidip. CF is the 3M product - could not see paying 5k for the factory option and waiting another 6 months. I think it turned out Ok.

Outstanding! And a sincere thanks - we're picking up our Palladium Silver wagon Tue/Wed and my first order of business is tints and Plasti-Dip the emblems and window trim. Do you have any full-side pics so we can see how it looks with Plasti-dipped window trim?

is there a reason to use 3 m vinyl on the windows instead of plasti dip?
looks great overall, the matte cf look is spectacular with that color car

Stunning, my favorite color on E63. I would love to get a wagon, unfortunately they are so rare on the used market thus selling for a premium. We need more people like you to buy them new

According to the shop that did the work, the vinyl is easier to apply and lasts longer than plastidip when dealing with window trim.
Lower door piece is 3M carbon as well.

Interesting comparing that to my 2012, it does look more sporty for sure and must turn more heads, looks more sleek. Oh well, I'm happy my 2012. I was about to put in a order for a 2014 when I found my 2012 about 3 months ago at a auto wholesaler, the price was too good to turn down, I saved around 30 grand over what I would have paid for a new one. Of course had to give up the idea of AWD, but that's ok, my car seems to hook up a lot better off the line than I thought it would and I live in Fla in the winters so no snow. Nice car though, congrats!!!

Just looking at the pictures again, from the side and back profiles it looks similar to mine, but the nose is totally different. At first I did not like that new nose restyling but it's starting to grow on me,, maybe in a couple years I'll be trading mine in for one of those, who knows. I guess I could put in the order and keep driving my car till it came in, that would be the way to do it.

Reserved allocation with deposit in early April. Not able to spec the car until mid May, as that was when the dealer was able to enter it into the system. Car was built the third week in August. Only 4-5 days later it was loaded on "the Oberon". Arrived in Balitmore on 9/8. Arrived at dealer 9/17 in the morning. Picked it up that afternoon.

I see you spared no time in blacking out all the shiny pieces. The result is stunning! It's the first time I have seen a plasti-dipped "S" emblem and it looks pretty good. The 3M CF looks good and I agree it's no point spending $5K and waiting 6M for something that pretty much the same. Sorry, the design of the area around the rear exhausts still gets no love from me. Otherwise a fabulous vehicle you have there.

otakki - thank you very much! And thanks to all of the others!
I had since April to obsess about modifications. I had it set up so I basically got it all done the day after I picked the car up.
As far as the rear end goes, I am considering powder coating the exhaust tips black.
What do you guys think of that? Should be no problem since the tips are not actually hooked up to the exhaust pipes from the muffler - a bit strange. The chrome tips are purely cosmetic.

*S*E*X*Y*!!!
After seing you car I will strongly consider doing a 3M job also! It looks great and reversible if you get tired of it. How much did they charge you for the whole 3M package?
Congrats!
