Winter Wheels and Tires Arrived!
Hey guys,
Couple of quick shots of my new winter wheels and tires (Ok, one wheel and tire and some boxes). The car doesn't arrive till November so they are going to wait patiently in the garage till then. Frank at Wheels Boutique was great to work with and shipping was fast and professional.
Wheels:
TSW Panorama in Matte Black 19"x8.5" front ET 32mm, 19"x9.5" rear ET 41mm.
Tires:
Michelin Alpin PA4 255/35 19 all around.
Now I need to get some matte black MB center caps. Center cap size for reference is 75mm.
Enjoy
X

Wheels came very well packed:

Looks great!
I got my TSW Nurburgring set this week. Couple notes for you: make sure they sent the 4 adapter rings as well as a new set of lug bolts. The TSW are conical seat whereas our stock wheels are ball seat. And my wheels came with the wheel centers too, but the TSW logos were separate. So you should be able to remove the logos and replace with something better (68 mm)?
I got my wheels and tires through Discount Tire. In Chicago, we have an amazing contact at DT that gives great prices and incredible service. He actually brought them to my home, for free!

Is there a reason to go with wider wheels in the back considering you went 255 all arround? I was maybe considering going 8.5 front and back if I go the route of winter wheels. 19x8,5 35mm offset seems OK all arround based on Wheel calculator in another thread.

Here is the eBay link I got them from. Best price I could find. Even some of the online MB parts dealers were charging $36 each for the cap. This was $72 total shipped for OEM.

If you forever plan to run 255 all around, then there's little reason to run wider wheels in back. But if you ever might (a) run staggered winter tires, or (b) use these as your summer wheels, then you should get the wider rear wheels.

Here's a source for some unusual factory center caps. It's a site that caters to the G wagen, but nearly all of those caps are the MB standard size.

They are winter wheels so really not point of running staggered. I run 255 all around also on my winter wheels...Just feels better

Based on the Wheel calculator with 8.5 35mm offset in the back the wheels will actually stick out 2mm more so absolutely no concern with suspension.

All the 19x8.5" i'm seeing on TireRack (where i usually buy my tires) are showing 45mm offset. So based on your numbers they will be 8mm narrower in the rear that stock. Ok, that's not a huge amount, I can live with that.

I checked on Power Wheels Pro and the have 8.5 x 35 offsets in a couple of models. The logical choice would be to mount on stock wheels but... I like to have the hability to swap tires myself if needed.

I think those look nice! Your lucky that TSW takes the 75mm OEM style caps, my Bremmer Kraft wheels take 68mm BMW sized caps. I'm finding it all but impossible to find center caps that will fit.
My Black OEM center caps came today. They look pretty good. The TSW center caps are actually nicer and better quality...they are a bit glossy instead of totally matte but they look way better than the TSW caps. Here is a quick pic.

They are 55m and probably look like crap but heh, they are $6.50 so worth a try. Really have limited options so it sucks. Who knows the quality, i'm not expecting much, I haven't even looked at the stock Bremmer Kraft caps yet, they might be fine as is. I'll check when i get back from europe.

My wheels arrived last week while I was traveling and just got time to check them out.
Just a reminder they are Black with machined-lip 19x8.5" Bremmer Kraft B09s 45mm offset with 255x35x19 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s all round.
Overall I think they are looking pretty spanking and I think they will be a complimentary option compared to the optional black 10 spokes that I'm getting on my palladium silver E63S.
