Funny phenomenon though that I found when I had my Aston: No matter how far away you park your car in a parking lot, nice cars will have crappy cars parked right next to them upon you return!

That's one thing I like about being disabled is with the HP Placard the spaces are wider and less likely to get the car screwed up, although when I'm in Florida is generally useless as a lot of people have HP Placards there and you can't find vacant HP spots.

Parking far away is also good for getting some additional walking and exercising into my day while I still can.
The other option is to park next to other nice cars, but try to avoid those cars that might carry lots of kids because we all know how kids swing car doors wide open.
